On October 5 CRCA’s executive director Jim Facette sat down with CPC MP Kelly Block, Carlton Trail-Eagle Creek, Saskatchewan, Shadow Minister for Public Services and Procurement to explain the importance of the federal government’s prompt payment law and the necessity of the soon-to-be released come into force regulations.
This non-partisan legislation was passed in June 2019 with origins going back to 2016 and a Conservative Senator’s private Bill, S-224.
Jim also took to the time to outline who the CRCA is, who our members are and what our federal issues are.
This is part of recent ongoing lobbying efforts to raise federal government awareness on the important contribution CRCA members make to Canadian society and the challenges members they face.
